Another pic of the sun. Obviously I was *very* happy when the sun finally came out. I really hate being cold :P

Somebody in the parking lot had a *sweet* Miami Vice-era Mercedes 500 SL in pristine condition. It was…so…beautiful…*sobs*

Eventually the announcer called everyone to order and the runners starting gathering at the start line.

Another shot of the same bird from a different angle. Still too far away to get a good look at it. The sun is *just* starting to break through here, burning the fog off of the water.

Everything looked quite gray and ethereal in the direction of the lake before the sun rose properly. This is a bird of some sort that was foraging at the water’s edge (I was too far away to be able to tell what kind).

This morning I went to watch the SO at one of his race events and snapped a few photos while I was there. It was cold (for Florida) when we first arrived, but thankfully it got progressively warmer as the sun emerged. My next few posts will be pics from the event. This first one is just your standard walking-in-from-the-parking-lot shot :)
